You get around at night, so do I,
Normally, I'm scheduled, tonight on the fly. Talked my wife into accompanying me for cream, Off we went, wound up at Dairy Queen. My wife says it's not real ice cream but artificial, However, with hot fudge, it's good, that's official. What surprised me were the many folks we know, They also stopped for dessert that resembled snow. Some students, some families stopped for cold relief, Many folks want/need sugar--that's my belief. A chance to sit and chill, just sit and talk, Most folks drive up to the Q, could be a destination walk. It's now Friday AM and this is just getting penned, The Q is a good place for relationships to mend. Are all your relationships good? All tip top? Perhaps you need to slow down in life --or stop. An oasis is essential when crossing the arid desert, Your week's 168 hours are better served enjoying dessert. Give your life a break, slow down, don't be blue, Maybe you, as my wife, will admit liking time at the Q. Dave Hale Ottawa, KS
