Never met him, though we share the same last name.
His first name was Charles - don't know if he sought fame. I read of this 48 year old motorcyclist's death in the fog; Pretty sure death wasn't an entry in his last travel log. His death gave me an opportunity to get something off my chest; It sure seems I hear/read of many cycling to their final rest. I know transportation can be costly, it's certainly not free, But wouldn't we all be safer with 4 wheels under us, or at least 3? I have a friend who I spoke to just a few days past, He was biking to Oklahoma on his big Harley built to last. He has a nice helmet and all the latest gadgets and gear, But if I was riding with him, my companion would be fear. There are trailers and semi's and loose things on the ground, Long boards and loose lights, both oblong and round. Whatever might fall out or wind up on the curve, Could cause you or another to unpredictably swerve. Oh, I don't want to think about it, but it just keeps happening, Aren't you tired of hearing another man around a tree wrappening? So no, I won't rent or lease a motorcycle - certainly not be an owner, My son-in-law correctly classifies motorcyclists, organ donor. Dave Hale 12/??/12 Ottawa, KS hale-agency.com
