Looking at this date--it seems so repetitive, Kinda boring, like existence after taking a sedative. Going on a long trip, the driving, while initially exciting, After a short while you experience the subject of this writing. Life is full of repetition, "I've done this before!" Like making sure Junior's milk doesn't wind up on the floor. Actions reoccur, but so do feelings, Negative feelings, if in bunches, can send us reeling. Positive feelings--we want to see again and soon, Like kissing your wife while watching the moon. What are you doing today that you want to repeat? What's on your schedule that causes your feet to be fleet? Why waste your life in doing what's dumb? Do only wise things, then add to their sum. Stop those things that cause you and others consternation, Change the subject unless you KNOW the exact cause of inflation. However, doing only those things with a guaranteed outcome, Can make life too routine--don't add to their sum. Take a risk, run for office, become a spokesman, Now we're taking steps towards having some fun. There's a healthy tension between safety and risk, Mouth open yawns are the opposite of garlic and bisque. Balance the mundane with what you'd like to be doing, Eating even the best steak does require some chewing. Dave Hale Mid Oct. '11 Ottawa, KS 620/245-5778

AuthorDave likes to put together words to make poems. Sometimes the rhythms are great and sometimes they are a stretch. Either way they will make you think, make you laugh, make you wonder what's going on with Dave. :) Archives
