Today reminds me of a woman I once knew,
There aren't many like her, probably more than a few.
Linda was good looking, but hold it--she wasn't nice,
Today's weather looks good, but full of snow and ice.
The temps are low, somewhere around 10 degrees,
Nothing melting, just a big deep freeze.
It's now half past four, warmest of the day,
If you want to play games, inside you will stay.
As I look our the window, the sky is Linda blue,
Pretty sure Linda had no trouble getting a guy to say "I do".
But to venture forth in this weather--a sin,
The wind is out of the North--speed easily over ten.
Oh, you can see this in the Kansas summertime too.
Once in awhile a sky dark overcomes a sky blue.
The cold is absent, but obviously, change almost here,
Tornadoes occur on warm, windy Spring days=FEAR.
So join in the game, connect a name to a day's weather,
Does Esther mean a harvest day, wind as a feather?
Angelica Sue could be a perfect, cloud free day as well,
Usually by 4PM, you know if it will be stormy or swell.

Dave likes to put together words to make poems. Sometimes the rhythms are great and sometimes they are a stretch. Either way they will make you think, make you laugh, make you wonder what's going on with Dave. :)
