Angst

Athletes know this feeling..you just want to get out and run.
Working out can be arduous, but this feeling is fun.
There is just this pent up energy that wants to feel the wind,
In a wallet of one dollar bills, this emotion is a fin or a ten.

Your muscles are tense from sitting around, a lameness of muscle,
You want to stretch your tendons all the way down to your corpuscle.
Lifting, bending, going for a jog,
No one is chasing you, you just dislike being a log.

The sky outside is blue, the air a bit chilly, but the wind is down,
After exercising, the oxygen gives a high I have found.
So lace up the shoes, head to the track,
I suppose most who read this, recent exercise they lack.

So, I am not asking you to do anything that I will not,
Good leadership includes example as a primary slot.
Who knows, maybe I will see you stretching out your stuff,
Why in 15-20 minutes, you'll probably have enough.

I feel better already just trying to explain this phenomena,
If it was a pill in a bottle, you could call it exercyclemenepha.
I will wrap this up and send it to you,
Do what you want --I recommend not every day of the week, just a few.

Dave likes to put together words to make poems. Sometimes the rhythms are great and sometimes they are a stretch. Either way they will make you think, make you laugh, make you wonder what's going on with Dave. :)
