Ran into a man in Iowa, Comfort is his last name,
Pretty sure he is not part of the hotel chain fame. After college, he spent 30 years in the industry, banking, Through a series of developments, he found his work tanking. Funny things happen when a man loses his work, Life is full of surprises, negative circumstances do lurk. Mr. Comfort seems centered and is now retired, I am kinda sure if he could get it going again if rehired. Emotionally, he seems to have put it all into a rear view mirror, Continually reviewing his recent loss might only produce fear. He has a talented wife--in her work also, a major surprise, Seems an accusation was unfounded, a series of lies. Well, guess what? The sun came up in the East today, Another opportunity to pursue both work and play. We know going in not everything will go our way, But we need to be relentless in our desire to produce and stay. Thanks, Mr. Comfort, for your manual on "How to Carry On", Your instruction hasn't been written, more an example to don. When plans are disturbed, or worse yet, destroyed, God will provide a few surprises to keep your spirits buoyed. Dave Hale Ottawa, Ks

AuthorDave likes to put together words to make poems. Sometimes the rhythms are great and sometimes they are a stretch. Either way they will make you think, make you laugh, make you wonder what's going on with Dave. :) Archives
