Three Benefits

​Attending church has many benefits, I'll mention only three,
The first is salvation--did you hear?  It's free!
God made our bodies, minds, and souls--only our souls live on,
To those who receive His Son, a mansion someday with well kept lawn.

God made it a gift so no man can boast,
Any argument about earning salvation turns to toast.
The second benefit is the Bible, 66 smaller books in all,
Stories of everyday use and even a few tales tall.

It's amazing how up to date Bible information is,
A surfacy reading let's you know how applicable it tis.
A more thorough analysis informs you of the past,
What you're experiencing now, others knew in century last.

The third benefit, people; folks next door and around the world,
Believers in Christ are found everywhere, languages swirled.
Some people, amazingly, are like you, others not at all,
Our commonality?  A blueprint so we don't stall.

So, next Sunday, get up, get ready to meet your Maker,
Well, maybe not literally;  Be aware there is a Faker.
Life has many trials, but you do want to be on the team,
Church attendance will allow what only God can give, that's the theme.
